DAY 1

Iquitos

The first day of the trip starts in the Peruvian Amazon town - of Iquitos. After arrival, we team up for a local dinner and get a rest before heading into the jungle

DAY 2

Amazon river

Early morning we get on the boat and head into Amazonia

On our way, we will spot incredible pink dolphins, parrots, monkeys, and many more

After the magnificent sunset over the jungle, we will take a walk into the wilderness to witness the nocturnal life

DAY 3

Piranha fishing and night tour

We wake up with the sunrise over the jungle. Swim, if you are brave enough in the river and try piranha fishing

After a jungle walk to spot the wildlife and medicinal plants, that are still used by locals, the night has set and it's time to go caiman watching

DAY 4

Visiting local village

Today we will visit the local indigenous village. We will learn about their lifestyle, daily habits, philosophy, and traditions.

DAY 5

Arequipa

On this day we finish our jungle tour and get on the flight to one of Peru's most beautiful towns - Arequipa

It's also one of the country's gastronomical destinations, so let's see what our dinner can offer :)

DAY 6

Culture and historical heritage

We will spend our day visiting the local, colorful market, charming neighborhoods of the town, and very beautiful Santa Catalina Monastery

DAY 7

Colca Canyon

The road takes us past majestic Misti mountain, reaching plains with Vicuna animals in plain sight. Soon after you will realize that wild alpacas and lamas cross the road very short moment. 

In a while, we reach 5000m altitude and if lucky will see many volcanos in a distance. 

Our destination for today is Chivay town in Colca Canyon.

DAY 8

Andean Condors

Colca Canyon is home to 2nd largest bird in the world - The Andean Condor

And we will go see them. After that, we head back to Arequipa town

DAY 9

Cusco

A short 1-hour flight takes to the ancient Inca capital Cusco. This is a truly magical place with so much to see, experience, and admire. 

After arriving and setting in the hotel, we stroll down the beautiful stone-paved streets, passing old ladies with baby llamas, and cozy and colorful vendors, and grab some delicious food.

DAY 10

Citadel of Inca civilisation

Cusco is located at 3400m altitude and it's very important to take it easy, listen to your body and acclimatize properly. 

That's why we will stay in town, and go for a walk to the main Inca citadel - Sacsayhuamán.

DAY 11

Machu Picchu

This is the day you are waiting for.

We start the day very early as I want you to be in Machu Picchu 1st, before all the other tourists arrive, to enjoy the place entirely by yourself. Believe me, it's magical. 

The trip includes a challenging hike in one of the surrounding mountains in the ancient city, and the view from the top of it is out-of-this-world!

DAY 12

Maras saltmine & Moray

Maras salt mine is a unique place to visit and to a surprise, it's been in use for the last thousand years. 

We also will visit Moray agriculture terraces - to understand and learn more about why the Inca civilization was so keen to use this structured way of growing crops

Rainbow Mountain

Crossing several remote and indigenous villages, mountain cliffs, and disturbing alpaca herds we reach Rainbow Mountain which is admired by the entire world for its colors.

Temperature can vary from +30 in the Amazonian area to low as 0C in Cusco highlands.
